Olympic Track & Field Trials

Two years ago I had the great pleasure to pass the Olympic Torch to my good friend Arnold Schwarzenegger for the Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada.  That experience had a great impact on me.  After handing off that torch, I decided I wanted to actually be competing in the Summer Olympics in London, England in 2012.

For the past two years, I've been in training for the chance to compete in Eugene, Oregon for an event I wasn't even sure would exist yet.  I lobbied the U.S. Olympic Track & Field committee and finally convinced them to hold the first ever test run of the 100 Mile event to see if it could be a legitimate event for future Olympics.

Yesterday, in an untelevised event, I ran with 8 other select individuals in the 100 Miler.  The race is approximately 402 laps around the track, a grueling test of pure will.  I'm proud to report that I edged out the competition in a thrilling photo finish.

Vancouver Torch Relay

Today I had the pleasure to pass the torch to an old friend, Arnold Schwarzenegger. I won the opportunity to do this by winning a lottery scratch-off ticket I bought while getting a slurpie at a 7-Eleven gas station in Ohio. Who would've thought?

Arnold and I go way back as lifting buddies and more recently met up in San Diego to bring back the glory days.

As far as the Olympics and my run-ins with the law lately - I think I have layed low long enough and plan to compete in some event in this Olympics. More to come...

Haiti White House Press Conference

Today President Obama held a press conference alongside former Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. I happened to be on a run through the White House lawn and later saw I was captured on the news report. Now the CVNP park police are the least of my worries!!

Snowboarding

After spending a couple nights in the woods of the Cuyahoga Valley, I figured the authorities were off my tail. I decided to head over to Boston Mills Ski Resort to tear it up on my snowboard. I enjoyed the fresh powder and even got in a couple backside 360s!!

Winter Blast

I haven't posted over a year now since the photo-finish picture of Michael Phelps and me surfaced. The Olympic Committee found out I was not a qualified swimmer in Beijing and chased me across the country.

However, no worries. I am back! Today I drove to the Cuyahoga Valley for an off-piste adventure. I tried to climb a hillside with my Suburban, but unfortunately the tread on my tires was completely worn from all the cross-country driving I have done and my vehicle became entrenched in snow. I quickly covered the rest of the vehicle with snow and made a mad dash to avoid suspicion from authorities.

Photo Finish

With 2008 coming to a close, I just couldn't help but post this famous photograph of me getting edged out by the great Michael Phelps. What a close race and a disappointment, but kudos to Michael.

Bush In Iraq

Last Sunday, I was in Iraq visiting the troops. I heard President Bush was going to be making an appearance so I stopped by to listen in. I am sure many of you have seen the video multiple times and noticed me in the background catching the shoe. What the video doesn't show is after I caught it, I threw it back at the journalist, which knocked him out, allowing Secret Service members to contain him.
